DESCRIPTION:February 15th is the first day of the Spring season in the high desert! Join us on Saturday\, February 15 at 9:30 a.m. at NATIVE HEALTH Traditional Garden on 1822 West Pierson St – Phoenix for our Spring Seed Starting and Planting Workshop!  Learn about what crops can be planted in the spring\, when they should be transplanted into the soil\, and when they should be sown. Explore different seed sources\, soil types\, varieties of plants- such as tomatoes and chile pepper plants\, direct sowing vs transplanting\, and more! We will take a tour of the garden and our seedling structure to explore what we have started and what is in the ground. \nEach attendee will receive two 6 cell seeding trays to plant spring seedlings of their choice to bring home and cultivate. \nOpen to Everyone.
