DESCRIPTION:Join us for a three-part workshop series that explores the wisdom plants offer in relation to well-being\, resilience\, and self-awareness. We’ll also learn hands-on ways to connect with these plants by making teas and salves together. \nSession 1\, Wednesday\, March 26: Plant Wisdom & Traditional Uses\nWe’ll explore various plants and their growth patterns\, traditional uses\, cultural stories\, and the lessons they teach us. *The first three registrants will receive a copy of “Plants Have So Much to Give Us\, All We Have to Do Is Ask” by Mary Siisip Geniusz. \nSession 2\, Thursday\, April 3: Wild Harvesting & Practical Applications\nLearn when\, how\, and why to harvest wild plants and herbs. We’ll also discuss traditional processing methods and ways to incorporate them into daily life. *The first ten registrants will receive a tea strainer and a bag of rosehip tea. \nSession 3\, Wednesday\, April 9: Herbal Preparations\nDiscover how to create herbal-infused vinegars\, honeys\, oils\, and salves. We’ll demonstrate making an herbal-infused salve with plantain leaf. *All attendees will receive a small jar of the salve. \nParticipants who attend all three sessions will receive a gift bag with herbs from the series\, beeswax for salve-making\, and small jars for essential oil blending. \nEach workshop starts at 5:30 p.m. at NATIVE HEALTH Central\, 2nd floor Conference room.  \nOpen to Everyone.
