Home Visiting: 1st Annual Fall Harvest Feast

NATIVE HEALTH’s Home Visiting is hosting our First Annual Fall Harvest Feast! Bring your family and share a warm meal, enjoy fall crafts, and celebrate Native American Heritage Month! This year’s celebration features guest storyteller Shannon LaRance of So’oh Storytime.
So’ho Storytime is an inspiring online initiative that invites children and caregivers to read along weekly with Native-authored stories and meaningful life lessons. Shannon LaRance is Diné (Navajo), Hopi, and Assiniboine, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and the creator of So’oh Story Time. What began as a way to read to her grandchildren has grown into a heartfelt project dedicated to sharing Indigenous stories.
The first 25 families to register and attend the event will receive a fall harvest food box and each household will receive a copy of our featured book: When We Gather (Ostadahlisiha): A Cherokee Tribal Feast to continue their literacy journey at home.
