Youth Mental Health First Aid Training (MHAT) 11-25-25

Sign up for Youth Mental Health First Aid Training VIRTUALLY via Zoom. The live instructor-led session will be on Tuesday, November 25 at 9 am MST.

Why Take This Training?
This free training teaches you how to recognize the signs of mental health and substance use challenges in youth ages 12-18 and how to help them get the support they need.

Who Should Attend?
This training is great for any adult, ages 18 and over, who works with or cares about youth.

What You’ll Learn:
-Signs of common mental health concerns like anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and ADHD
-Warning signs of substance use
-How to talk to a young person who may be struggling
-Where to connect them for help
-How social media, bullying, trauma, and stress affect youth
-Tips to take care of yourself while helping others

What Participants Can Expect:
When you sign up through Native Health, you’ll follow a step-by-step process designed to guide you through the full training experience.
– Register for the training through NATIVE HEALTH.
– Create a learner account in MHFA Connect (the national MHFA learning platform).
– Gain access to course materials once enrolled in the course.
– Complete the required 2-hour self-paced online pre-work prior to attending the live session.
– Attend the 5.5-hour live virtual session with certified MHFA instructors.
– Complete the required post-work.
– Receive your official Youth Mental Health First Aid Certificate of Completion.
